Comfort:

They say if you wait long enough everything comes back into style and that's precisely the case with the Innergy2 series from Therapedic. The Monterrey Cushion Firm is upholstered on both sides, allowing you to either flip it over or rotate it from head-to-toe.
Our customers ask if this helps, and yes, it helps if you do it on a regular basis. Just as a one-sided mattress should be rotated from head-to-toe every two to three months (the more, the better), if you flip and turn your mattress it allows the upholstery to wear more evenly, providing you with more years of beneficial comfort.

The Monterrey Cushion Firm is produced by Therapedic by their Rock Island licensee, The Bedding Group. This Cushion Firm uses the same amount of upholstery layers as the Firm, but the padding layers have more give, allowing the Cushion Firm to conform slightly better where you need it versus the harder counterpart. Although not ideal for all side sleepers, this will allow someone who is used to sleeping on their sides on a hard bed to achieve a slightly better level of conformity for hips and shoulders to relieve those pesky pressure points.

The Monterrey Cushion Firm is an excellent bed for stomach sleepers as they typically need a mattress a little on the firmer side, so it doesn't let you sink into the bed the wrong way all night long. Stomach sleepers who have spent a few nights on an overly soft mattress will recognize the symptom of not being able to bend over in the morning until your back has sufficient time to unclench.
If you have someone else in the bed with you that's looking for something a little more on the medium side and still want a two-sided mattress, try the Monterrey Pillowtop or the Sunset Valley Plush.
